history

In May 1989 Mr Philip Allison incorporated PJA Computer Consultants Pty Ltd.

PJACC was approached to develop a Haematology reporting system for a Western Australian laboratory. The success of this project encouraged Philip to develop the AUSLAB system.

From these relatively small beginnings PJACC implemented a number of standalone single department systems in laboratories across Australia. As development work progressed on AUSLAB it was adapted to form an integrated system spanning all departments of pathology.

In 1996 a significant step forward was made when PJACC developed multi-laboratory integration. The success of this integrated functionality led to significant contracts in 1997/98 with the Departments of Health in Queensland and New South Wales.

The company is now well into it's second decade. PJACC now offers its AUSLAB product range, which provides software for pathology, diagnostic imaging clinics, clinical measurement disciplines such as cardiology and respiratory investigations. Other areas of allied and public health are also in service. This development was driven by the recognised need for an integrated platform for all clinical data.

PJACC's software solutions permit the integration and reporting of in excess of 80% of all diagnostic and clinical information in today's hospitals, supporting improved patient care.

AUSLAB comprises a series of software modules which manage the workflow of services and intelligently integrates patient and sample related information with results from instrumentation and manual data entry. AUSLAB delivers timely, comprehensive and flexible reporting to clients and management.

AUSLAB can be implemented as a single discipline, multi discipline, or a fully integrated multi facility installation.
