This delivers tightly integrated 'no gaps' solutions. Queensland Health Pathology Scientific Services Queensland Health Pathology Scientific Services uses Auscare in a totally integrated network to provide complete support services to 34 laboratories across Queensland. The healthcare of 17% of Australia's population is supported by this installation and is the largest public hospital pathology system in the southern hemisphere. Hunter Area Pathology Service (HAPS) The Auscare pathology system services three area health services via a network, which spans the state of New South Wales. Auscare has facilitated the use of a single hardware platform and integrated database whilst allowing each of the services to maintain autonomy in their work practices and reporting procedures. Pathology New England The four Pathology New England laboratories are managed by Auscare over the WAN, from the HAPS installation. Pacific Laboratory Medicine Service The Pacific Laboratory Medical Service uses Auscare to provide management for a centralised pathology service located on Sydney's North Shore, servicing a population of approximately 1.2 million. South West Pathology The SouthWest Pathology Health Service operate six laboratories in the Southern New South Wales area, utilizing the HAPS infrastructure. Eastern Health Pathology Eastern Health Pathology services three laboratories in the Melbourne metropolitan area. These laboratories service both the public and private sector. Western Diagnostic Pathology Auscare manages the Haematology department at two WDP metropolitan laboratories in Perth. SouthPath SouthPath operate laboratories at Flinders Medical Centre and the Daw Park Repatriation Hospital, both in the Adelaide metropolitan area. Auscare has provided software to SouthPath since 1992.
